CC Regular Session <br />Meeting Date: <br />Primary Strategic Plan Initiative: <br />06/27/2023 <br />Address infrastructure needs. <br />Information <br />• <br />Title <br />Adopt Resolution #23-129 Accepting Geotechnical Proposals for 2024 Pavement Management Program Projects <br />Purpose/Background: <br />Purpose: <br />The purpose of this case is to adopt Resolution #23-129 accepting geotechnical proposals for 2024 Pavement <br />Management Program projects. <br />Background: <br />Geotechnical Reports inform Staff of subsoil conditions, which is essential when designing the pavement section <br />for the reconstructed streets. Staff recommends accepting the proposal for Improvement Project #24-02 <br />geotechnical report from Chosen Valley Testing. <br />Chosen Valley is required to complete their work by August 25, 2023, which will allow Staff to complete design <br />work for this proposed improvement in time for winter bidding. <br />Independent Testing Technologies submitted the lowest responsible quote for; Improvement Project #24-01 <br />Barthel's Rum Rive Acres and White Pines Estates Street Reconstructions, Improvement Project #24-11 Alpine <br />Drive MSA (Puma Street to CSAH 83) Reconstruction Improvement Project #24-12 Juniper Woods 1st _ 3rd <br />Street Reconstructions, and Improvement Project #24-13 Fox Ridge Estates 1st & 2nd Street Reconstructions. <br />Staff recommends accepting the proposals for Improvement Projects #24-01, #24-11, #24-12, and #24-13 <br />geotechnical reports from Independent Testing Technologies. <br />Independent Testing Technologies is required to complete their work on Improvement Project #24-01 by July 28, <br />2023. The work on Improvement Projects #24-11, #24-12, and #24-13 is required to be complete by August 25, <br />
