INTRODUCTION: The City of Ramsey (City) is requesting proposals for the delivery of five (5) <br />geotechnical reports for 2024 projects including; <br />1. IP 24-01 Barthel's Rum River Acres & White Pine Estates Street Reconstruction <br />• Subdivision is generally located along 164th Lane, between TH 47 and the Rum River. <br />Additionally, the Helium Street cul-de-sac is located south of 169th Avenue and is included <br />with this project and shown on the soil boring location map <br />a. Streets are approximately 1.3 7 miles in total length <br />i. 24-feet wide <br />11. Speed limit is 30 mph <br />b. Scope of work includes: <br />1. 17 soil borings to a depth of 10-feet per the attached exhibit <br />1. Seventeen (17) Pavement Cores <br />11. A standard geotechnical report including construction feasibility for public <br />utilities and pavement section <br />M. Logs of soil borings with descriptions of nomenclature used for defining the <br />site soils <br />iv. Estimated subgrade support strength parameters for design of the <br />bituminous roadway and recommendations for soil corrections <br />v. Recommendations for earthwork associated with installation of storm sewer <br />vi. Recommendations for management of groundwater for design of structures <br />and pavements <br />2. IP 24-02 Halls Dover Acres Street Reconstruction <br />• Subdivision is located generally Northeast of Nowthen Blvd (CSAH 5) and 157th Lane. <br />a. Streets are approximately 0.98 miles in total length <br />i. 24-feet wide, rural section <br />ii. Speed limit is 30 mph <br />b. Scope of work includes: <br />i. 15 soil borings to a depth of 15-feet per the attached exhibit <br />1. Fifteen (15) Pavement Cores <br />ii. A standard geotechnical report including construction feasibility for public <br />utilities and pavement section <br />M. Logs of soil borings with descriptions of nomenclature used for defining the <br />site soils <br />iv. Estimated subgrade support strength parameters for design of the <br />bituminous roadway and recommendations for soil corrections <br />v. Recommendations for earthwork associated with installation of storm <br />sewer, sanitary sewer and watermain <br />vi.
