Councilmember Howell introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #23-129 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING GEOTECHNICAL PROPOSALS FOR 2024 PAVEMENT MANAGEMENT PROGRAM PROJECTS WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council resolution 22-062, adopted March 28, 2023 the City Engineer prepared request for proposals for geotechnical reports for 2024 pavement management projects, and WHEREAS, request for proposals were submitted to five (5) firms for the purpose of obtaining quotes for completing the proposed geotechnical services; and WHEREAS, the five (5) geotechnical quotes received are tabulated below; and Contractor IP 24-01 IP 24-02 IP 24-11 IP 24-12 IP 24-13 American $13,550.00 $15,175.00 $10,550.00 $12,960.00 $17,550.00 Engineering Testing, Inc. Haugo Geotechnical $12,810.00 $13,280.00 $8,400.00 $9,834.00 $18,370.00 Services Independent Testing $7,400.00 $8,515.00 $5,575.00 $5,970.00 $10,930.00 Technologies, Inc. WHEREAS, the quote of Chosen Valley Testing, Inc. in the amount of $8,505.00 for the geotechnical report of IP 24-02 Halls Dover Acres Street Reconstruction for said services in accordance with the prepared proposal is the lowest responsible quote and their quote shall and hereby is accepted; and WHERES, the quote of Independent Testing Technologies, Inc. in the amount of $7,400.00 for the geotechnical reports of IP 24-01 Barthel’s Rum River Acres and White Pines Estates, and in the amount of $5,575.00 for IP 24-11 Alpine Drive MSA (Puma Street to CSAH 83) Reconstruction, and strd in the amount of $5,970.00 for IP 24-12 Juniper Woods 1 – 3 Street Reconstructions, and in the stnd amount of $10,930.00 for IP 24-13 Fox Ridge Estates 1 & 2 Street Reconstructions for said services in accordance with the prepared proposal are the lowest responsible quotes and their quotes shall and hereby are accepted.
