PRCOECT DESCRI~fON ~ND MINIML~M ~ <br /> <br />Present Syste~ <br />~he present system is described on an attachment to this request for proposal. <br /> <br />Floor Plan <br />The floor plan of the Ramsey Municipal Center indicating the present layout of <br />the talel~hone system and additional telephones planned in this proposal is <br />attached. <br /> <br />~quil~nent Locations <br />Equit~nent locations are shown on the floor plan. <br /> <br />General Requi reagent <br />System must be an electronic key system. We woLLld like the system to operate <br />efficiently without an attendant at the oonsole. ~e console will not always <br />be attended. Inceming calls may be angered frcm any main office area phone. <br /> <br />Dial or Button Selective Intercom <br />~is deals with the interccm of the telephone system enabling the user to talk <br />in and around the office through the phone system installed at 15153 Nowthen <br />Boulevard NW. ~e prol:oser should state the intercc~ features and n~mber of <br />intercom paths of their proposed system. <br /> <br />~andsfree Answerback <br />The handsfree answerback should provide a privacy switch that wLll enable the <br />di~ablement of the microphone within any selected telephone station. <br /> <br />Call Progress Tones <br />Tne call progress tones should be available indicating whether the dialing <br />party did actual ly reach another phone and that the phone is either ringing or <br />busy. <br /> <br />Autnm~tic TLme-Out Interc~a <br />~qe supplier should state whether an autematic time-out feature is standard or <br />available on the intercom circuit. State whether the time-out feature is <br />preset or variable. <br /> <br />Waiting On Intercom <br /> <br />Soft or All-Phone Paging <br />Tnis deals with a voice being heard through all or select telephone speakers <br />at one time. <br /> <br />Attendant' s Intercc~ Link <br />Special intercom link dedicated only to the attendant. <br /> <br />Alternate Position Answering <br /> <br />Page 5 <br /> <br /> <br />
