the attendant can process the call. <br /> <br />Privacy (or Exclusion) <br />This is a required feature for the phone system. It insures confidential <br />cc~z,~,unications by blocking other telephones frc~ accessing a line already in <br />use. Must be autcmatic but can be overridden to allow someone to join the <br />conversation. <br /> <br />Do-Not-Disturb <br />This feature blocks intercom calls or all calls when you don't want to be <br />bothered. <br /> <br />Message Waiting <br />This feature uses a a special light or tone to indicate to a phone-user that <br />the attendant has a message taken while he was out or on another call. <br /> <br />Privacy Ralease <br />This is a method for someone on a privacy-enforced conversation to permit <br />another person in the office to join the conversation. The proposer should <br />state the method of operation for this privacy release procedure. <br /> <br />Restricted Dialing <br />This is a phone modification or accessory device that prevents users of <br />selected phones or fr(xa all phones frcm dialing long distance. The proposer <br />should state the options available t~lder this type of dialing. <br /> <br />Memory Dialing, Speed Dialing, or Antcmatic Dialing <br />User should state the options available on their system for dialing full <br />telephone numbers using buttons or two or three digits programmed into <br />individual phones or into the system in general. The proposer should describe <br />the operation of this feature. <br /> <br />Last N,-~er Re-Dial <br />This feature allows the last number dialed to be re-dialed simply by pressing <br />a designated button on the telephone station. <br /> <br />A~t ~-.~tic Re-Dial <br />%his feature senses when a number is busy. <br />the number t~ntil it is answered. <br /> <br />It hangs ~p and keeps re-dialing <br /> <br />Telephone Answering Fr~n Any Station <br />A proPOsed system must allow any incoming line to be answered frcm any remote <br />station withou*~ going through the attendant console. <br /> <br />Night ~nswering <br />The pro.~oser should be able to match or JJnprove upon the needs for the night <br />telephone answering at the Ramsey Municipal Center. The night system is to <br />operate as follows: At a given time, selected lines will be able to be <br />transferred to a station equipped with an answering device (to be supplied by <br />proposer).
