ORDINANCE UO. 88- <br /> <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />AN ORDINAIJCE REVISI;~G TI(E CITY'S OOG CONTROL REGUL~TIOlJS DY <br />REPEALING 'THE EXISTING CITY CODE CHAPTE~ 110.03 AND REPLaC1Nu <br />WITH A NEW CIIAPTE~ 110.03, ENTITLED "DOG 2EGuLATIuds". <br /> <br />IT <br /> <br />The City of 2amsey .Ordains: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. CHAPTER TEXT <br /> <br />110.03 uOG REGULATIONS <br /> <br />110.031 Definitions: <br /> <br />a. "Dog" shall mean any ~aale <br /> domesticated dog. <br /> <br />or female of any bree~ of <br /> <br />b. "Dangerous dOg" shall mean and include: <br /> <br />Any dog with a known propensity, tendency or <br />disposition to attack unprovoked, to c~use <br />injury or to otherwise endanger the safety of <br />human beings or domestic animals; or <br /> <br />2. Any dog which a.ttacks a I~u)aan being or <br /> domestic animal' without provocation; or <br /> <br /> 3. Any dog owned or harbored primarily or in <br /> part for the purpose of dog fighting or any <br /> dog trained for dog fighting. <br /> <br />"Owner" shall mean the license holder or any other <br />person or persons, firm, association, or corporation <br />owning, keeping or harboring a Dog. Any person keepin~ <br />or harbori, ng a dog for five (~) consecutive days shall, <br />for the purposes of this chapter, be dee)ned an o~vnur <br />thereof. <br /> <br />"Running at large" shall mean any dog ~hich is not <br />either: <br /> <br />1. Effectively contained on private property; or <br /> <br />2. Effectively restrained, by chain or leash, to <br /> private property with the consent of the property <br /> owner; or <br /> <br /> <br />
