TOM GUYER <br />Anne Norris, Community Development Director <br /> <br />Background: <br />In accordance with Section 110.18 of the City Code, Mr. Tom Guyer is requesting <br />approval of a wild animal license to keep two black bears on his property at <br />15408 Sunfish Lake Boulevard N.W. In addition, Mr. Guyer is seeking a variance <br />to keep these bears on property approximately 2.33 acres in size. Section <br />110.183, Subdivision 2, Section E(2) (b) of the City Code requires a minimum of <br />2.5 acres for keeping wild animals. <br /> <br />Enclosed are the following items for your information: <br /> <br />a) Application with attachments <br /> Site location map <br /> bcl Letter from ~r. Carl Anderson dated February 2, 1988 <br /> d) Letter from Ms. Kat_hleen Anderson dated February 2, 1988 <br /> e) Letter frem Ms. Mary Westphal dated February 2, 1988 <br /> f) Planning and Zoning Commission public hearing meeting minutes dated <br /> February 2, 1988 <br /> g) Ordinance #87-8 <br /> h) Proposed findings of fact <br /> i) Proposed wild animal license <br /> <br />Observations: <br />The Planning and Zoning Comm.~ssion conducted a public hearing on Mr. Guyer's <br />request on February 2, 1988. On ~rch 1, 1988 the Commission recommended <br />approval of }~.
