The <br />results indicate that of the 19 cities, seven limit licenses exclusi- <br />vely to municipal liquor stores (usually 1-3 stores per community), <br />four have no restrictions on the number of private liquor stores, five <br />limit licenses based on population ratios (e.g., one license per 4,000 <br />population, 5,000 population, etc.) and two communities limit distan- <br />ces between stores (e'.g., one mile minimum distance). <br /> s~a~ sought <br /> In meetings with current and potential licensees, City ~ :: <br /> input and discussed a variety of options.
