Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #06-05- RESOLUTION GRANTING PRELIMINARY PLAT APPROVAL TO WILD OAKS OF RAMSEY WltEREAS, Ron Tallman, hereinafter referred to as "Developer", has prope~iy applied for preliminary plat approval on the following described property located in the City of Ramsey: The west half of the northwest qumer of the northeast quarter Of Section 8, Township 32, Range 25, According to the U.S. Government Survey, ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA The North 447.60 feet of the east 526.00 feet, as measured along the east and north lines, respectively, of the northeast quarter of the northwest quarter of Section 8, Township 32, Range 25, According to the U.S. Government Survey, ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA AND That part of the east 542.00 feet, as measured parallel with the north line of said -i~ortheast quarter of the northw~t quarter, lying south of the north 446.60 feet, as measured along the east line of said northeast quarter of the northwest quarter, Section 8, Township 32,' Range 25, According to the U.S. Government Survey ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA. (the "Subject Property") WHEREAS, on July 7, 2005 the Planning Commission reviewed the sketch plan for Wild Oaks of Ramsey, expressed concern with the length of the cul-de-sac; and WHEREAS, on January 6, 2006, the City of Ramsey received an application for a preliminary plat for subdivision from Ron Tallman; and WHEREAS, on February 2, 2006, the Planning Commission reviewed and tabled action on the proposed preliminary plat in order to receive additional information regarding the soils on the site and the location and design of the community septic system and; WHEREAS, on May 4, 2006, the Board of Adjustment denied a variance to cul-de-sac · length; and -206-
