MAX~FIELlYl~OUSING MA~' STI3q~Y' <br /> <br />BY: <br /> <br />HRA Executive Director Sylvia Frolik <br /> <br />INTRODUCTION: <br />In August 2005, the City Council requested that Anoka County prepare a market analysis <br />of the need for workforce and senior housing in the City. This study has been completed <br />and is now ready for review by the HRA. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION POINTS: <br />Jay Thompson from Maxfield Research will be present at the HRA meeting to review the <br />highlights of the study and answer any questions. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />A copy of the Maxfield study was distributed with the Weekly Update on April 28th. <br />Please let Staff know if you need an additional copy. <br /> <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATION: <br />The HRA should make a recommendation to the City Council on the acceptance of the <br />Ma~field Study as a planning tool to,be used in the drafting of the City's Housing Plan. <br /> <br />BOARD ACTION: <br />Motion by Commissioner , seconded by Commissioner <br />to recommend that the City Council accept the Maxfield Housing Market Study. <br /> <br />REVIEWED BY: <br /> <br />City Administrator <br /> <br />HRA: 05/09/06 <br /> <br />-263- <br /> <br /> <br />
