<br />Anoka Riverfest & Craft Fair Celebrating 24 Years
<br />ANOKA, MN — Drawing more than 20,000 people each year, Anoka Riverfest & Craft Fair is celebrating
<br />its 24th year of offering a variety of artists and crafters, a beautiful setting along the Rum River, delicious
<br />food, and more! This fun, family -friendly event is a great way to spend time with family and friends
<br />outdoors. Join in on Saturday, July 8, 9 a.m. — 5 p.m., in historic downtown Anoka.
<br />Browse through the outdoor market offering hand-crafted goods created by more than 150 artists!
<br />Organizers pride themselves on ensuring that all products offered are 100% hand-crafted by the vendor.
<br />You will find clothing and accessories, jewelry, soaps, lotions, home and outdoor decor, furniture, food
<br />and more!
<br />Stop by the food courts to satisfy your cravings, from fresh squeezed lemonade to corn clogs, egg rolls,
<br />gyros, hamburgers, ice cream, kettle corn, mini donuts, pulled pork sandwiches, ribs, root beer floats,
<br />waffles, walking tacos - the list goes on.
<br />Artists of all ages will enjoy unleashing their inner artist with sidewalk chalk art by drawing pictures of
<br />friendship, love, and kindness, behind Anoka City Hall from 10 a.m. —1 p.m. Artists under 14 years of age
<br />must be supervised by an adult. This activity is free, while supplies last.
<br />"Anoka Riverfest is one of the largest outdoor craft fairs in the Twin Cities. The number of juried
<br />vendors grows each year and more food options and activities are offered, all surrounded by Anoka's
<br />entertainment district, providing something for everyone," said Peter Turok, President of the Anoka Area
<br />Chamber of Commerce.
<br />Visitors will be just steps from Anoka's popular eating establishments, many with outdoor seating.
<br />Plus, a craft brewery, wine bar, coffee shops, many antique shops, an ice cream parlor, two speakeasies,
<br />and a variety of quaint boutique -style shops filled with clothing, jewelry, accessories, decor, and so much
<br />more!
