ORDINANCE NO. 88-~ <br /> <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOI~A COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 110 OF THE RAMSEY CODE WHICH CHAPTER IS <br />ENTITLED "HEALTH, SAFETY AND WELFARE" BY THE AMENDMENT OF SECTION <br />110.11 ENTITLED "CURFEW" AND THE REPEAL OF THE EXISTING CURFEW <br />PROVISIONS; THE ADDITION OF A NEW SECTION 110.21 ENTITLED <br />"LOITERING"; AND THE ADDITION OF A NEW SECTION 110.22 ENTITLED <br />"GENERAL PROVISIONS". <br /> <br />The city of Ramsey Ordains: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. AMENDMENT <br />Section 110.11 of the Ramsey city Code is amended by the addition <br />of the following sections. <br /> <br />110.11 Cu~kFEW <br /> <br />110.111 Curfew - Persons under fifteen years of age. <br /> It shall be unlawful for any person under the age of fifteen <br /> years to be on or present in any public street, avenue, <br /> alley, park or other public place in the city between the <br /> hours of 10:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. of the following day, <br /> unless accompanied by that person's parent or guardian, or <br /> person having legal custody and control of that person, or <br /> unless there exists a reasonable necessity therefor. The <br /> fact that such child, unaccompanied by parent, guardian or <br /> other person having legal custody, is found upon any street, <br /> alley, or public place after 10:00 p.m. or before 5:00 a.m. <br /> of the following day, shall be evidence that such child is <br /> there unlawfully and that no reasonable excuse exists <br /> therefor. <br /> <br />110.112 Curfew - Persons over fourteen and under eighteen years <br /> of age. <br /> <br /> It shall be unlawful for any person under the age of <br /> eighteen years and over the age of fourteen years to be on <br /> any public street, avenue, alley, park or other public place <br /> in the City between the hours of 12:00 midnight and 5:00 <br /> a.m. of the following day unless accompanied by that <br /> person's parent or guardian, or person having legal custody <br /> and control of that person, or unless there exists a <br /> reasonable necessity therefor. The fact that such child, <br /> unaccompanied by parent, guardian or other person having <br /> legal custody, is found upon any street, alley or public <br /> place after 12:00 midnight or before 5:00 a.m. of the <br /> following day, shall be evidence that such child is there <br /> unlawfully and that no reasonable excuse exists therefor. <br /> <br /> <br />
