TOM EI3RAK <br />By: C~,m~nity Levelol~ment Director Anne Norris <br /> <br />CASE 94: <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Mr. Tom Kurak is requesting a metes and bounds subdivision of approximately <br />25 acres from the Sher~in Schenk property located east of Armstrong Flvd. <br />N.W. and north of the Burlington Northern F~ilroad. Mr. Kurak is proposing <br />to split off the west 467 feet of the Schenk property adjacent to Armstrong <br />Blvd. and divide it into 3 lots (one 13.6 acre parcel, one 5 acre parcel <br />and one 6.5 acre parcel). <br /> <br />For your information, the following items are enclosed: <br /> <br />a) Site location map <br />b) Existing parcel <br />c) Proposed subdivision <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />It appears that the proposed subdivision will leave the remainder of the <br />Schenk property landlocked. The Commission may wish to request an <br />easement/access through the proposed parcel to provide future access to the <br />r~naining property not abutting Armstrong Blvd. <br /> <br />In the past, the City's policy has been to limit individual lot access onto <br />County roads.
