Councilmember Pearson noted that $8,607 is a good price for a mower. <br /> <br /> Motion by Councilmember Sorteberg and seconded by Councilmember Cox to <br /> table action on the request to purchase a mower. <br /> <br /> Further Discussion: Councilmember Pearson stated that a mower is a good <br /> piece of equipment for a City to have. Councilmember Sorteberg noted that <br /> the City may be contracting out for park maintenance next year. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />DeLuca and Pearson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley stated that he will not place the mower ease on the agenda <br />again unless City Council requests it. <br /> <br />~ Receive B~ds For The Central Park Wmrm~ House Imnroveme~l <br /> Pro~ct ~88-1~; <br /> <br />Merlsnd Otto reported that the City received bids for the Central Park <br />warming house; it is recommended that the City negotiate with the general <br />contractor awarded the contract for a reduction in th~ mechanical/ <br />electrical portion of the contract while maintaining the building's vandal <br />proof integrity. <br /> <br /> Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember DeLuca to adopt <br /> Resolution ~88-116 accepting bids for the Central Park Warming House and <br /> awarding a contract to Cottonwood Construction, Inc. for such improvement. <br /> (Refer to resolution file for Resolution ~88-i16). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Ymyor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />DeLuca and Pearson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case ~ Receive Bids For The 1988 Sealcoatin~ Improvement Pro~ect; <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Coun¢ilmember Fear$on to adopt <br />Resolution ~88-117 accepting bids for the 1988 sealcoating improvements and <br />awarding contract to Astech Corporation for such improvements.
