Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #23-181 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A 2-YEAR EXTENSION OF THE CITY'S HEALTH <br />INSURANCE RENEWAL WITH HEALTHPARTNERS FOR 2025-2026 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey's employee health insurance benefits have been part of <br />the Local Government Information Systems (LOGIS) consortium since 2012; and <br />WHEREAS, when the pool last went out for bid, the agreement with HealthPartners was <br />for 2022-2024; and <br />. WHEREAS, the LOGIS Committee and HealthPartners have agreed to another 2 years <br />which includes pool rate caps of 9.5% in 2025 and 9.5 % in 2026; and <br />WHEREAS, to ensure stability, all organizations need to agree to remain in the pool for <br />the next contract cycle through December 31, 2026. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves a 2-year Extension to the City's Health <br />Insurance Renewal with HealthPartners for 2025 and 2026. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 8th day of August, 2023. <br />
