Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #23-182 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING PROPOSAL FOR PAVEMENT EVALUATION SERVICES <br />FOR BOWERS DRIVE AS PART OF IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #24-07 <br />WHEREAS, request for proposals were submitted to two (2) firms for the purpose of <br />obtaining quotes for completing a pavement evaluation of Bowers Drive for consideration as part <br />of Improvement Project #24-07, 2024 Neighborhood Pavement Overlay Improvements; and <br />WHEREAS, the one (1) quote received is tabulated below; and <br />Project <br />Bowers Drive — between 148th <br />Avenue and cul-de-sac <br />Braun Intertec <br />$3,730.00 <br />WHEREAS, the quote of Braun Intertec in the total amount of $3,730.00 for said services <br />in accordance with the prepared proposal is the lowest responsible quote and their quote shall be <br />and hereby is accepted. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br />The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a <br />contract with Braun Intertec for said pavement evaluation services for and on behalf of the <br />City of Ramsey. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 8th day of August, 2023. <br />
