Coancilmontber __ introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #06-05-~'C'GX <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE ORDER NO. 2 FOR CONSTRUCTION OF <br /> IMPROVEMENT PROJECT 02-34, RAMSEY MUNICIPAL PARKING FACILITY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Facilities Committee has author/ty to approve change orders in <br />excess of $l 0,000 and less than $~5,000 w~th City Council ratification; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Administrator and Assistant Public Works Director have the authority to <br />approve change orders ofnp to $ I0,000 with City Council ratilication; and <br /> <br />WiiEREAS, the approved Contract allows for a 2% construction contingency of $145,000; and <br /> <br />WIIEI,tEAS, Change Order No. [ was approved by the City Council on October I 1, 2005; and <br /> <br />WIt[EREAS, the following cbange orders have been requested and approved by the City <br />A(hrfinistrator and Public Works Director and need City Council ratification; <br /> <br />1. Add barrier cable along Grid A ~ $7,331 <br />2. Modifications to beams, canopy, revised furore co~mection - $7,510 <br />3. Added lights for north exterior si~mge - $2,936 <br />4. Delete Precast Infl[1 panels along Grid A - decrease of $31,000 <br />5. Electrical Changes (RFI 18) - decrease of $803 <br />6. '['raffle topping - $1,139 <br />7. h~sulation details at Stair A ~ $3,442 <br />8. Signagc Overage ~ $3,781 <br /> <br />WIIEREAS, the change order for the modification to the north ~ades to facilitate the retail liner <br />store ($14i773) has been approved by Facilities Conm~ittee and also needs City Council <br />ratification; and <br /> <br />NOW THEILEt:O1LE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />iLS.
