Coancilmontber __ introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #06-05-~'C'GX RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE ORDER NO. 2 FOR CONSTRUCTION OF IMPROVEMENT PROJECT 02-34, RAMSEY MUNICIPAL PARKING FACILITY WHEREAS, the Facilities Committee has author/ty to approve change orders in excess of $l 0,000 and less than $~5,000 w~th City Council ratification; and WHEREAS, the City Administrator and Assistant Public Works Director have the authority to approve change orders ofnp to $ I0,000 with City Council ratilication; and WiiEREAS, the approved Contract allows for a 2% construction contingency of $145,000; and WIIEI,tEAS, Change Order No. [ was approved by the City Council on October I 1, 2005; and WIt[EREAS, the following cbange orders have been requested and approved by the City A(hrfinistrator and Public Works Director and need City Council ratification; 1. Add barrier cable along Grid A ~ $7,331 2. Modifications to beams, canopy, revised furore co~mection - $7,510 3. Added lights for north exterior si~mge - $2,936 4. Delete Precast Infl[1 panels along Grid A - decrease of $31,000 5. Electrical Changes (RFI 18) - decrease of $803 6. '['raffle topping - $1,139 7. h~sulation details at Stair A ~ $3,442 8. Signagc Overage ~ $3,781 WIIEREAS, the change order for the modification to the north ~ades to facilitate the retail liner store ($14i773) has been approved by Facilities Conm~ittee and also needs City Council ratification; and NOW THEILEt:O1LE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF iLS.
