-.234- M~vDOT A~eement No. 89336 CFMS Contract No. STATE OF MINNESOTA JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL/TECHNICAL SERVICES State Project Number (S.P.): 0206-60 Trnnk Highway Nnmher (T.H.): 47 Project Identification: Preliminary Design for T.H. 47 in Anoka County This A~'eemcnt is between the State of Minnesota, acting through its Cmranissioner of Transportation ("State"), A~mka Connty, through its Board o[' Commissioners, address: 144(I Bunker Lake Bon. levard, Andover, MN 55304 ("County"), the City of Anoka, through its City Conneil, address: 2015 First Avenue, Anoka, MN 55303, thc City of R,qmsey, through its City Council, address: 15153 Nowtbeu Boulevard NW, Ramsey, MN 55303 and Burns Township, throngh its Board of Supervisors, address: 19880 Nowthen Bonlevard NW, Anoka, MN 55303. Recitals 1. Hnder Minn. Statutes § t 5.06 l State is empowered to engage such assistauce as deemed necessary. 2. Minnesota Statntes ~ 471.59 authorizes State, County, the City of Anoka, the City of Ramsey and Bnrns Township to enter into this Agreement. 3. State is in need of preliminary design, environmeutal assessment and official mapping services for T.H. 47 fi'om approximately Couuty State Aid Highway 22 (Viking Boulevard) to the intersection of T.H. 10 in the Cities of Anoka and Ramsey and in Burns Township. 4. County will act as lead agency arid will provide day-to-day project management for this AFeement. 5. State, County, tile City. of Aaoka, the City of 1,~amsey and Burns Township have each cormnit~ed funding toward the cost of services to be provided in this Agreement. 6. County represents that it is duly qualified and agrees to perform ail services described in this Agreement to the satisfaction of State, the City of Anoka, tile City of Ramscy and Burns Township. 2kgreeulent Term el' Agreement 1.1 Effective date: The date State obtains all required si~nratures under Minnesota Statutes Section 16C.05, subdivision 2. 1.2 Expiratio~ date: April 15, 2007, or until all obligations have been satisfactorily fulfilled, ~vhichever occurs first. 1.3 Survival of Terms: The following clauses survive the expiration or temxination of this Agreement: 6 - L/ability; 7 - State Audits; 8 - Government Data Practices; 9 - h~tellectnaI Prope. rry; 10 -- Venue. 1.4 Exhibits: Exhibits A and B are attacbed and inco~3oratcd into this A~eement; Scope of Work and I)eliverables (all activity code 1129) 2.1 Pnrsuant to applicable laws, County will enter into a subcootract with a consultant to perfom~ the following tasks: 2.1.1 Environmental Docmncntation 2.1.2 Concept Layonts aud Geometric Layout Preparation, Including Profiles, Typical Sections and Cross-Sections 2.1.3 Traffic Analysis 2. 1.4 Cost Estimates 2.1.5 Desi.~m Stndy Report 2. 1.6 Project Management, Meetings and Coordination 2. 1.7 Official Map Page 1 o~'?
