Council Member introdnced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION # <br /> <br /> AUTHORIZATION TO HItLE A PATROL OFFICER <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, In April 2006, staff received City Council authorization to recruit a <br />patrol officer; and <br /> <br /> WItEREAS, staff has conducted an internal recruitment process and is <br />recommending that Christopher Curtis be hired to fill the patrol officer position effective <br />May 24, 2006 at an hourly rate of $I9.62; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIl, OF TI:~E <br />CITY OF ILAMSEY, ANOiC4_ COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) The City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the <br /> Personnel Committee to hire Christopher Curtis as a patrol officer. <br /> <br /> 2) Mr. Curtis will begin employlnent with the City of Ralnsey as a patrol officer on <br /> May 24, 2006 at an hourly rate of $19.62. <br /> <br />The motion t'or the adoption of the foregoinL; resolution was duly secondcd by Council <br />Member, , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the fo]lowing abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolntion was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 23~{l day of May, 2006. <br /> <br />--258- <br /> <br /> <br />
