She does not like anyone having that much control over <br />her checkbook, especially with three p,"a'cels she is concerned about. The City sim'old have <br />realized this will be a problem on oue side of the road. This is their neighborhood and their road; <br />she just got used to the idea of haviug it paved and then they received this letter. She would like <br />more creativity done on these bids. As far as the rest of her neighbors, it might be a good idea if <br />the neighborhood got together to discuss this. <br /> <br />Matt Nelson, 7501 I64s' Lane NV/, stated he agrees with 1he neighbors that this is ridiculous. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />71m public bearing was closed at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Conncil Business <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called thc regular City Council meeting back to order at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Mayor Garnet stated the cost of this project is a huge increase fi'om the est/mate, it would be a <br />good idea to discuss this with the neighbors irt the ~ea no matter what is done. <br /> <br />Councilmcmber Cook stated it is important that the citizens understand that when lhe City goes <br />through this process the Eugineering Department puts their best effort forward to come up with <br />costs without putting a lot of' expense into that calculation.
