Weekly UPDATE <br />Administrator's Report September 5, 2023 <br />Council Update <br />We're Hiring! <br />The City of Ramsey is hiring for the following positions: <br />. Police Officer (2 openings) <br />The primary objective of this position is to perform <br />responsible police work involving the protection and <br />safety of the community through prevention and <br />control of crime, maintaining or restoring public order, <br />investigating crime, regulating traffic, enforcing laws and <br />providing emergency services; as well as other related <br />duties as required. This is a full-time LELS-Patrol union <br />position. The 2023 hiring wage is $32.460 per hour. <br />The application deadline is open until filled, apply <br />immediately if interested. <br />The City of Ramsey is also hiring for the following <br />Temporary Seasonal Staff: <br />. Rink Attendants (7 Openings). The primary objective of <br />this position is to maintain the warming houses during the <br />skating season through responsible, safety -minded work <br />as a part-time temporary Ice Rink Attendant at Central <br />Park and Ramsey Elementary School. Warming houses <br />are expected to open (weather permitting) on Friday, <br />December 15, 2023. The wage is $13.00 to $14.50 per <br />hour, depending on qualifications. Application deadline <br />is 11:59 pm on Tuesday, November 7, 2023. Find the schedule and list of sponsors at <br />www.cityoframsey.com/happydays. <br />Attached to the Weekly Update are the Happy Days <br />Schedule of Events, Sponsors and Event Information Flyers. <br />Single -Lane Closures on Highway 10 <br />Now through September 1 <br />Construction began on July 24, on the temporary widening <br />project of U.S. Highway 10/169. Single -lane closures will <br />affect traffic in the cities of Ramsey and Anoka. Construction <br />is scheduled to be completed by mid -October. <br />The temporary widening project will help provide/maintain <br />two lanes of traffic in each direction during the Ramsey <br />Gateway Improvement Project, beginning in the spring of <br />2024 and ending fall of 2025. <br />For more information, please visit www.anokacountymn. <br />gov/3918/Hwy-10Ramsey-Blvd-Interchange. <br />Park & Recreation Events and Updates <br />Gental Movement Yoga with Jennifer <br />Back by popular demand, Gental Movement Yoga with <br />Jennifer.
