American Red Cross Blood Drive <br />The American Red Cross is holding a blood drive on <br />Thursday, September 14, 11:30 am-5:00 pm at Ramsey City <br />Hall, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW. <br />For more information, make an appointment to donate, <br />or sign up online, visit www.redcrossblood.orLgive.html/ <br />donation -time or contact Pam Miller 763-433-9841 or <br />pmiller@cityofiamacy.� Jm. <br />Blood supplies are low and donors of all blood types <br />are needed, especially those with types 0 negative, B <br />.ic6a,wc and A According to the Red Cross, type <br />O negative is the universal blood type that can be safely <br />transfused to anyone and is often used to treat trauma <br />patients. <br />HUMANKIND <br />NEEDS YOU! <br />Arnari <br />Rea Cross <br />Save the Date <br />Fall Recycling Day Event <br />The Fall Recycling Day event will be on Saturday, <br />September 30, from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Ramsey <br />Public Works facility (14199 Jaspar Street NW). This is an <br />opportunity for residents to properly dispose of a number <br />of materials that are not accepted in the curbside recycling <br />program, including appliances, electronics, tires, fluorescent <br />bulbs, batteries, oil, oil filters, antifreeze, mattresses, box <br />springs, bicycles and scrap metal. The standard curbside <br />materials (e.g. cardboard, aluminum, steel and tin cans, <br />newspaper, plastic botdes, tubs and lids 1 gallon or less in <br />size, glass jars and botdes) will also be accepted. Finally, <br />residents can take advantage of FREE paper shredding at the <br />Fall Recycling Day event (limited to no more than 3 boxes of <br />documents; the shredded paper does get recycled).
