The City seeks Community Partners for the <br />Adopt -a -Flag Program <br />The City of Ramsey is seeking community partners for its <br />Adopt -A -Flag program. The flags will be affixed to the light <br />poles on Sunwood Drive NW and can serve as a symbol <br />to honor the <br />memory of <br />a loved one <br />or show civic <br />pride. <br />There are <br />two donation <br />levels for <br />individuals or <br />businesses, the <br />Friends -of - <br />the -Flag Level <br />Sponsorship <br />for $50 and <br />Patriot Level <br />Sponsorship is $500. Visit the City's website at <br />www.cityoframsey.com/778/Adopt-a-Flab to sign-up or <br />learn about what sponsorship entails. <br />If you have more questions about sponsoring a flag, please <br />contact Kathy Schmitz at kschmitz(a cityoframsey.com or <br />763-433-9844. <br />Adopt-A-Feall <br />RAMS}. <br />Save the Date <br />Fall Recycling Day Event <br />The Fall Recycling Day will be on Saturday, September 30, <br />from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm at the Ramsey Public Works <br />facility (14199 Jasper Street NW). This is an opportunity <br />for residents to properly dispose of a number of materials that <br />are not accepted through the curbside recycling program, <br />including appliances, electronics, tires, fluorescent bulbs, <br />batteries, oil, oil filters, antifreeze, mattresses, box springs, <br />bicycles and scrap metal. The standard curbside materials <br />(e.g. cardboard, aluminum, steel and tin cans, newspaper, <br />plastic bottles, tubs and lids one gallon or less in size, glass jars <br />and bottles) will also be accepted. Finally, residents can take <br />advantage of FREE paper shredding at the Fall Recycling Day <br />(limited to no more than 3 boxes of documents; the shredded <br />paper does get recycled).
