RESOLUTION #79-46 <br /> <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION FOR SITE PLAN AND DESIGN PLAN REVIEW FOR COmmERCIAL, INDUSTRIAL <br /> <br />BUILDINGS AND MULTIPLE DWELLINGS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey, Minnesota has <br />resolved to adopt site plan review of all commercial, industrial and multiple <br />dwelling sites <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey, Minnesota has <br />resolved to adopt design plan review of all new construction (which would <br />include additions to original buildings) of con~ercial, industrial and <br />multiple dwellings. <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RA~EY, MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) Prior to the building inspector issuing a building permit for <br />the construction of any commercial, industrial buildings, or multiple dwell- <br />ing (which also includes any addition to an original structure) the following <br />must be accomplished: <br /> <br />a) The Planning and Zoning Commission must review the site <br />plan for the proposed new facility or addition. This review <br />will include landscaping, screening storage, ingress and <br />egress from facility to public roadway, outside lighting, <br />parking, etc. The Planning and Zoning Commission will submit <br />their recommendation to the City Council. <br /> <br />b ) The Planning and Zoning Commission will also review the <br />design plan for all new facilities or additions. This review <br />will include architectural design as to how proposed new build- <br />ing or addition will meet the asthetics of the surrounding area, <br />materials to be used in construction, etc. The Planning and <br />Zoning Commission will submit their recommendation to the City <br />Council. <br /> <br /> 2) The City Council will review all site plans and design plans <br />for proposed commercial, industrial buildings and multiple dwellings which <br />have been submitted to the City Planning and Zoning and contain their <br />recommendation. <br /> <br /> 3) Upon approval of the above by the City Council and signing <br />of a development contract which reflects the Council's recommendation, <br />the building inspector may issue a permit. <br /> <br /> <br />
