Councilman Sorteberg introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION 79-59 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improve- ment of Titterud Park located on Ramsey Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: Sched. Midwest Fence 50,135.00 29,000.00 7,902.00 28,515.00 ...... 39,452.50 22,743.00 9,479.00 33,932.50 ...... 27,542.50 19,992.00 8,040.00 ...... 7,217.22 36,490.00 27,574.00 8,866.00 33,738.00 31,631.00 --- --- 26,500.00 --- 33,2oo.oo ...... ...... 8,417.30 ...... 7,011.00 AND WHEREAS, it appears that NDH Inc. is the lowest responsible bidder on Schedule A and Schedule B and Midwest Fence is the lowest respon- sible bidder on Schedule C, MINNESOTA: NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF RA~.~SEY, 1) The mayor and clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the attached contract with NDH Inc of Anoka, Minnesota and Midwest Fence of South St. Paul, Minnesota for the improvement of Titterud Park according to the plans and specifications therefor approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk. 2) The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be re- tained until a contract has been signed. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Cox, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Cox, Mickelson, Reimann and Sorteberg
