Mayor Gamec introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION 79-59a RESOLUTION FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESS~NT WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Comacil on September 24, 1979, the City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the cost of improving the following streets: 1) Neon Street N.W. from State Highway #47 to 170th Lane N.W. lying within the Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 1t, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County. 2) 170th Lane N.W. from Neon Street N.W. to Ger- manium Street N.W. and lying within the Plat of Brookview Estates. 3) Helium Street N.W. from the southerly right-of- way line of 170th Lane N.W. to the southern boundary line of the plat of Brookview Estates, all lying within said plat. 4) Germanium Street N.W. from its intersection with 170th Lane N.W., then north to its termination, all lying within the plat of Brookview Estates. 5) 173rd Avenue N.W. from its intersection with Germanium Street N.W. then east to its termination, all lying within the plat of Brookview Estates. AND WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed assessment has been completed and filed in his office for public inspection, MINNESOTA: NOW TKEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF RAI.~SEY, 1) A hearing shall be held on the 9th day of October, 1979 in the City Hall at 6:30 P.M. to pass on such proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons owning property affected by such improve- ment will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such assess- ment. 2) The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing, and he shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement. He shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll not less than two weeks prior to the hearings.
