Mayor Gamec introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION 79-65 RESOLUTION FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Council on September 24, 1979, the City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the cost of improving the following streets: 1) Jaspar Street N.W. lying between County Road #56 (Ramsey Blvd. N.W. ) and 163rd Avenue N.W. 2) 159th Lane N.W. lying between Jaspar Street N.W. and Ironstone Street N.W. 3) 160th Lane N.W. lying between Jaspar Street and Ironstone Street N.W. 4) Ironstone Street N.W. lying between 159th Lane N.W. and t60th Lane N.W. 5) 160th Lane N.W. lying in the North Half of the Southwest Quarter of Section 15, Township 32, Range 25, lying west of Jaspar Street. 6) 161st Lane N.W. lying between Jaspar Street N.R. and Kamacite Street N.W. 7) 162nd Lane N.W. lying between County Road #56 (Ramsey Blvd. N.W.) and Jaspar Street N.W. AND WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed assessment has been completed and filed in his office for public inspection, MINNF~SOTA: NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF RA~ASEY, 1) A hearing shall be held on the 9th day of October, 1979 in the City Hall at 8:00 P.M. to pass on such proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons owning property affected by such improve- ment will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such assess- ment. 2) The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing, and he shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement. He shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll not less than two weeks prior to the hearings.
