Mayor Gamec introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION 79-70 RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PRO- POSED ASSESSMENT WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the improvement of: 1) 157th Lane N.W. 2) 158th Avenue N.W. 3) 158th Lane N.W. 4) Kangaroo Street N.W. 5) Hedgehog Street N.W. 6) Ferret Street N.W. 7) Eland Street N.W. A_Ii of the above streets lie within the plat of Whispering Pines Estates Plat 3 and the contract price for such improvement is $87,000 and the expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of such improvement amour~t to $15,018 so that the total cost of the improvement will be $102,018 ; and of this cost the City will pay $ --- as its share of the cost, MINNESOTA: NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF RAMSEY, 1) The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be $102,018. 2) The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer Consulting Engineers Diversified, Inc. shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and he shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in his office for public inspection. 3) The clerk shall, upon the completion of such proposed assessment, notify the Council thereof. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Reimann, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Cox, Mickelson, Reimann and Sorteberg and the following voted against the same: None
