Mayor Gamec introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 79-70 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PRO- <br />POSED ASSESSMENT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the improvement of: <br /> <br />1) 157th Lane N.W. <br />2) 158th Avenue N.W. <br />3) 158th Lane N.W. <br />4) Kangaroo Street N.W. <br />5) Hedgehog Street N.W. <br />6) Ferret Street N.W. <br />7) Eland Street N.W. <br /> <br />A_Ii of the above streets lie within the plat <br />of Whispering Pines Estates Plat 3 <br /> <br />and the contract price for such improvement is $87,000 and the expenses <br />incurred or to be incurred in the making of such improvement amour~t to <br />$15,018 so that the total cost of the improvement will be $102,018 ; <br />and of this cost the City will pay $ --- as its share of the cost, <br /> <br />MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF RAMSEY, <br /> <br /> 1) The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed <br />is hereby declared to be $102,018. <br /> <br /> 2) The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer <br />Consulting Engineers Diversified, Inc. shall forthwith calculate the proper <br />amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable <br />lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected, without regard to <br />cash valuation, as provided by law, and he shall file a copy of such proposed <br />assessment in his office for public inspection. <br /> <br /> 3) The clerk shall, upon the completion of such proposed <br />assessment, notify the Council thereof. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded <br />by Councilman Reimann, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following <br />voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Cox, Mickelson, Reimann and Sorteberg <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br /> <br />
