Mayor Gamec introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />P~ESOLUTION 79-72 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PRO- <br />POSED ASSESSMENT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the improvement of <br />156th Avenue N.W. lying between Variolite Street N.W. and County Road <br />83 (Armstrong Blvd. N.W.), and the contract price for such improvement is <br />$27,000 and the expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of such <br />improvement will be $5,441 so that the total cost of the improvement <br />will be $32,441 ; and of this cost the City will pay $ --- as its share <br />of the cost, <br /> <br />MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF P~ASEY, <br /> <br /> 1) The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed <br />is hereby declared to be $32,441. <br /> <br /> 2) The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer <br />Consulting Engineers Diversified, Inc. shall forthwith calculate the proper <br />amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable <br />lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected, without regard to <br />cash valuation, as provided by law, and he shall file a copy of such proposed <br />assessment in his office for public inspection. <br /> <br /> 3) The clerk shall, upon the completion of such proposed <br />assessment, notify the Council thereof. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded <br />by Councilman Reimaran, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following <br />voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Cox, ~ckelson, Reimann and Sorteberg <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> None <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey <br />City Council this the loth day of September, 1979. <br /> <br /> Mayor <br /> <br />~ ~dmini sqfa~fo r~C1 ~k-- ~ <br /> <br /> <br />
