Councilman Cox introduced the following resolution and moved for its <br />adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 80-20a <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF <br />REPORT <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF RAMSEY, MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1) A certain petition requesting the improvement of: <br /> <br />159th Lane N.W. lying between Kamacite Street N.Wo <br />and the West line of the Southwest Quarter of Section <br />15, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota <br /> <br />b) 158th Lane N.W. lying between Ramsey Blvd. N.W. and <br /> Kamacite Street N.W. <br /> <br />c) Kamacite Street N.W. lying between 159th Lane N.W. and <br /> 158th Lane N.W. <br /> <br />Ail of the above streets are located in the Southwest <br />Quarter of Section 15, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka <br />County, Minnesota. <br /> <br />filed with the Council on March 25, 1980, is hereby declared to be signed <br />by the required percentage of owners of property affected thereby. This <br />declaration is made in conformity to Minnesota Statutes, Section 429.035. <br /> <br /> 2) The petition is hereby referred to Consulting Engineers <br />Diversified and they are instructed to report to the Council with all <br />convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether <br />the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best be <br />made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement, and the <br />estimated cost of the improvement as recommended. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded <br />by Councilman Sorteberg and upon vote being %aken thereon, the following <br />voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg, Reimann, Mickelson and <br />Cox <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br /> <br />
