Councilman Sorteberg introduced the following resolution and moved for <br />its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 80-43 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF FUNDS FROM GENEPJ~L FUND TO PARK <br />AND RECREATION FUND TO PURCHASE CERTAIN EQUIPMENT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Park and Recreation Commission has requested they <br />be authorized to purchase 12 ball bases and four (4) home plates for ball <br />fields, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Park and Recreation Commission has requested addi- <br />tional funding in the amount of $250.00 for the purchase of the above equip- <br />ment due to the fact recreation equipment was deleted from the 1980 City <br />Park and Recreation Budget. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA <br />COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) Authorize the transfer of $250.00 from the General Fund <br />to the Park and Recreation Fund. <br /> <br /> 2) Authorize the purchase of twelve (12) ball bases and four <br />(4) home plates. The cost of this recreational equipment is not to exceed <br />$25O.OO. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded <br />by Councilman Mickelson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following <br />voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg, Mickelson, Reimann and <br />Cox. <br /> <br />and voting against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the <br />Ramsey City Council this the 27th day of May, 1980. <br /> <br /> <br />
