Councilman Reimann introduced the following resolution and moved for <br />its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 80- 61 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF FUNDS AS INDICATED BELOW <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Co~uacil of the City of Ramsey, Anoka Cou~aty, <br />Minnesota initiated the following: <br /> <br />a) <br /> <br />The Co~acil established in their 1980 City Budget that <br />$45,950 would be used from Revenue Sharing Entitlement #11 <br />for the purchase of a end loader for the Street Depart- <br />ment, <br /> <br />b) <br /> <br />Council Resolution #80-11 dated January 29, 1980, which <br />accepted lowest bid in the amount of $41,124 on end <br />loader, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey, Anoka Coumty, <br />Mim~esota initiated the following: <br /> <br />a) <br /> <br />The Council established in their 1979 City Budget that <br />$15,000 would be used from Revenue Sharing Entitlement #10 <br />for a drainage study, <br /> <br />b) <br /> <br />Agreement between City of Ramsey and Consulting Engineer's <br />Diversified, Inc. for drainage study in the amount of <br />$15,000, <br /> <br />c) Council motion dated March 25, 1980, approving of the <br /> completed drainage study in the amount of $15,000. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council, City of Ramsey, Anoka Councy, <br />Minnesota established a Park and Recreation Fund which is part of the <br />general levy and accordingly receives a share of the homestead credit <br />in lieu of ad valorem tax on a prorata ratio which is $2,086.59. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, <br />ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) Council hereby directs the transfer of $41,124 from Revenue <br />Sharing Fund to the General Fund for the purchase of the end loader. <br /> <br /> 2) Council hereby directs the transfer of $15,000 from Revenue <br />Sharing Fund to the General Fund to cover the cost of the drainage study. <br /> <br /> 3) Council hereby directs the transfer of $2,086.59 from the <br />General Fund to Park and Recreation which is the homestead exemption re- <br />placement for ad valorem taxes. <br /> <br /> <br />
