Councilman Reimann introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 80- 61 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF FUNDS AS INDICATED BELOW WHEREAS, the City Co~uacil of the City of Ramsey, Anoka Cou~aty, Minnesota initiated the following: a) The Co~acil established in their 1980 City Budget that $45,950 would be used from Revenue Sharing Entitlement #11 for the purchase of a end loader for the Street Depart- ment, b) Council Resolution #80-11 dated January 29, 1980, which accepted lowest bid in the amount of $41,124 on end loader, WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey, Anoka Coumty, Mim~esota initiated the following: a) The Council established in their 1979 City Budget that $15,000 would be used from Revenue Sharing Entitlement #10 for a drainage study, b) Agreement between City of Ramsey and Consulting Engineer's Diversified, Inc. for drainage study in the amount of $15,000, c) Council motion dated March 25, 1980, approving of the completed drainage study in the amount of $15,000. WHEREAS, the City Council, City of Ramsey, Anoka Councy, Minnesota established a Park and Recreation Fund which is part of the general levy and accordingly receives a share of the homestead credit in lieu of ad valorem tax on a prorata ratio which is $2,086.59. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) Council hereby directs the transfer of $41,124 from Revenue Sharing Fund to the General Fund for the purchase of the end loader. 2) Council hereby directs the transfer of $15,000 from Revenue Sharing Fund to the General Fund to cover the cost of the drainage study. 3) Council hereby directs the transfer of $2,086.59 from the General Fund to Park and Recreation which is the homestead exemption re- placement for ad valorem taxes.
