Councilman Mickelson introduced the following resolution and moved for <br />its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #80-66a <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT ON IMPROV~NT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve: <br /> <br /> a) Tungsten Street N.W. lying between Tru~k Highway <br /> #10 and Rivlyn Avenue N.W. <br /> <br /> b) Rivlyn Avenue N.W. lying in the Southwest Quarter of <br /> Section 35, Township 32, Range 25. <br /> <br /> c) Front Street lying in the Southwest Quarter of <br /> Section 35, Township 32, Range 25, lying West of <br /> Tungsten Street N.W. <br /> <br />Ail of the above streets are located in the Southwest <br />Half of Section 35, Township 32, Range 25. <br /> <br />and to assess the benefited property for all or a portion of the cost of <br />the improvement, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, <br />ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> -- That the proposed improvement be referred to Consulting <br />Engineers Diversified, Inc. for study and that he is instructed to report <br />to the Coancil with all convenient speed advising the Council in a prelimi- <br />nary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to <br />whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection with some other <br />improvement, and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded <br />by Councilman Reimann and upon vote being taken thereon, the following <br />voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg, Mickelson, Reimann and <br />Cox <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the <br />Ramsey City Counc±l this the 8th day of July, 1980. <br /> <br /> <br />
