Mayor Gamec introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #80-94 RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PRO- POSED ASSESSMENT WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the improvement of: a) Kangaroo Street N.W. lying between 151st Lane N.W. and 153rd Avenue N.W. o) Iguana Street N.W. lying in the Northwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 20, Township 32, Range 25 lying South of 151st Lane N.W. 151st Lane N.W. lying in the North Half of the Southeast Quarter of SEction 20, Township 32, Range 25, lying East of Kangaroo Street N.W. All of the above streets are located in the: North Half of the Southeast Quarter of Section 20, Township 32, Range 25. and the contract price for such improvement is $30,050 and the expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of such improvement amount to $6,265 so that the total cost of the improvement will be $36,315 ~ and of this cost the City will pay $--- as its share of the cost, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF P~MSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be $36,315. 2) The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer Consulting Engineers Diversified, Inc. shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assess- able lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected, without re- gard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and he shall file a copy of such propsoed assessment in his office for public inspection. 3) The clerk shall, upon the completion of such proposed assessment, notify the Council thereof. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Sorteberg and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg and Reimann
