Mayor Gamec introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #80-94 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PRO- <br />POSED ASSESSMENT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the improvement of: <br /> <br /> a) Kangaroo Street N.W. lying between 151st Lane N.W. <br /> and 153rd Avenue N.W. <br /> <br />o) <br /> <br />Iguana Street N.W. lying in the Northwest Quarter of <br />the Southeast Quarter of Section 20, Township 32, <br />Range 25 lying South of 151st Lane N.W. <br /> <br />151st Lane N.W. lying in the North Half of the <br />Southeast Quarter of SEction 20, Township 32, <br />Range 25, lying East of Kangaroo Street N.W. <br /> <br />All of the above streets are located in the: <br /> <br />North Half of the Southeast Quarter of Section 20, <br />Township 32, Range 25. <br /> <br />and the contract price for such improvement is $30,050 and the expenses <br />incurred or to be incurred in the making of such improvement amount to <br />$6,265 so that the total cost of the improvement will be $36,315 ~ and <br />of this cost the City will pay $--- as its share of the cost, <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF P~MSEY, <br />ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is <br />hereby declared to be $36,315. <br /> <br /> 2) The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer <br />Consulting Engineers Diversified, Inc. shall forthwith calculate the proper <br />amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assess- <br />able lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected, without re- <br />gard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and he shall file a copy of <br />such propsoed assessment in his office for public inspection. <br /> <br /> 3) The clerk shall, upon the completion of such proposed <br />assessment, notify the Council thereof. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded <br />by Councilman Sorteberg and upon vote being taken thereon, the following <br />voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg and Reimann <br /> <br /> <br />
