Mayor Gamec introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #80-104 RESOLUTION FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSIIENT WHEREAS, a resolution passed by the Council on September 8, 1980, the City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the cost of improving the following streets: a) 159th Lane N.W. lying between Kamacite Street N.W. and the West line of the Southwest Quarter of Section 15, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka Comaty, Minnesota. b) 158th Lane N.W. lying between Ramsey Blvd. N.W. and Kamacite Street N.W. c) Kamacite Street N.W. lying between 159th Lane N.W. and 158th Lane N.W. Ail of the above streets are located in the Southwest Quarter of Section 15, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota. AND WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Comacil that such pro- posed assessment has been completed and filed in his office for public in- spection, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TKE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) A hearing shall be held on the 15th day of October, 1980, in the City Hall at 7:30 P.M. to pass on such proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons owning property affected by such improve- ment will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessment. 2) The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing, and he shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement. He shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll not less than two weeks prior to the hearings. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Sorteberg and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg and Reimann
