Mayor Gamec introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #80-104 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSIIENT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a resolution passed by the Council on September 8, <br />1980, the City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the <br />cost of improving the following streets: <br /> <br />a) <br /> <br />159th Lane N.W. lying between Kamacite Street N.W. <br />and the West line of the Southwest Quarter of Section <br />15, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka Comaty, Minnesota. <br /> <br />b) 158th Lane N.W. lying between Ramsey Blvd. N.W. and <br /> Kamacite Street N.W. <br /> <br />c) Kamacite Street N.W. lying between 159th Lane N.W. and <br /> 158th Lane N.W. <br /> <br />Ail of the above streets are located in the Southwest <br />Quarter of Section 15, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka <br />County, Minnesota. <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Comacil that such pro- <br />posed assessment has been completed and filed in his office for public in- <br />spection, <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TKE CITY OF RAMSEY, <br />ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) A hearing shall be held on the 15th day of October, 1980, <br />in the City Hall at 7:30 P.M. to pass on such proposed assessment and at <br />such time and place all persons owning property affected by such improve- <br />ment will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such <br />assessment. <br /> <br /> 2) The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of <br />the hearing on the proposed assessment to be published once in the official <br />newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing, and he shall state in <br />the notice the total cost of the improvement. He shall also cause mailed <br />notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment <br />roll not less than two weeks prior to the hearings. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded <br />by Councilman Sorteberg and upon vote being taken thereon, the following <br />voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg and Reimann <br /> <br /> <br />
