Mayor Gamec introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #80-105 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a resolution passed by the Comncil on September 8, <br />1980, the City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the <br />cost of improving the following streets: <br /> <br />a) Kangaroo Street N.W. lying between 151st Lane N.W. <br /> and 153rd Avenue N.W. <br /> <br />b) <br /> <br />Iguana Street N.W. lying in the Northwest Quarter of <br />the Southeast Quarter of Section 20, Township 32, <br />Range 25 lying South of 151st Lane <br /> <br />151st Lane N.W. lying in the North Half of the <br />Southeast Quarter of Section 20, Township 32, <br />Range 25, lying East of Kangaroo Street N.W. <br /> <br />Ail of the above streets are located in the: <br /> <br />North Half of the Southeast Quarter of Section 20, <br />Township 32, Range 25. <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such pro- <br />posed assessment has been completed and filed in his office for public in- <br />spection, <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, <br />ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) A hearing shall be held on the 15th day of October, 1980, <br />in the City Hall at 7:45 P.M. to pass on such proposed assessment and at <br />such time and place all persons owning property affected by such improve- <br />ment will be given an opportumity to be heard with reference to such <br />assessment. <br /> <br /> 2) The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of <br />the hearing on the proposed assessment to be published once in the official <br />newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing, and he shall state in <br />the notice the total cost of the improvement. He shall also cause mailed <br />notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment <br />roll not less than two weeks prior to the hearing. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded <br />by Councilman Sorteberg and upon vote being taken thereon, the following <br />voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamee, Comncilmen Sorteberg and Reimann <br /> <br /> <br />
