Mayor Gamec introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #80-105 RESOLUTION FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT WHEREAS, a resolution passed by the Comncil on September 8, 1980, the City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the cost of improving the following streets: a) Kangaroo Street N.W. lying between 151st Lane N.W. and 153rd Avenue N.W. b) Iguana Street N.W. lying in the Northwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 20, Township 32, Range 25 lying South of 151st Lane 151st Lane N.W. lying in the North Half of the Southeast Quarter of Section 20, Township 32, Range 25, lying East of Kangaroo Street N.W. Ail of the above streets are located in the: North Half of the Southeast Quarter of Section 20, Township 32, Range 25. AND WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such pro- posed assessment has been completed and filed in his office for public in- spection, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) A hearing shall be held on the 15th day of October, 1980, in the City Hall at 7:45 P.M. to pass on such proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons owning property affected by such improve- ment will be given an opportumity to be heard with reference to such assessment. 2) The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing, and he shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement. He shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll not less than two weeks prior to the hearing. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Sorteberg and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamee, Comncilmen Sorteberg and Reimann
