Mayor G~nec introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #80-106 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a resolution passed by the Council on September 8, <br />1980, the City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the <br />cost of improving the following streets: <br /> <br />a) 158th Lane N.W. lying between County Road #56 <br /> (Ramsey Blvd. N.W.) and Dolomite Street N.W. <br /> <br />159th Avenue N.W. lying in the South Half of <br />Section 15, Township 32, Range 25, lying East <br />of County Road #56 (Ramsey Blvd. N.W.) <br /> <br />c) 160th Lane N.W. lying between Ebony Street NoW. <br /> and Dolomite Street N.W. <br /> <br />d) Ebony Street N.W. lying between 159th Avenue N.W. <br /> and 160th Lane N.W. <br /> <br />e) Dolomite Street N.W. lying between 158th Avenue <br /> N.W. and 160th Lane N.W. <br /> <br />Ail of the above streets are located in the: <br /> <br />South Half of Section 15, Township 32, Range 25. <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such pro- <br />posed assessment has been completed and filed in his office for public in- <br />spection, <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, <br />ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) A hearing shall be held on the 15th day of October, 1980, <br />in the City Hall at 8:00 P.M. to pass on such proposed assessment and at <br />such time and place all persons owning property affected by such improve- <br />ment will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such <br />assessment. <br /> <br /> 2) The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of <br />the hearing on the proposed assessment to be published once in the official <br />newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing, and he shall state in <br />the notice the total cost of the improvement. He shall also cause mailed <br />notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment <br />roll not less than two weeks prior to the hearing. <br /> <br /> <br />
