Mayor G~nec introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #80-106 RESOLUTION FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT WHEREAS, a resolution passed by the Council on September 8, 1980, the City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the cost of improving the following streets: a) 158th Lane N.W. lying between County Road #56 (Ramsey Blvd. N.W.) and Dolomite Street N.W. 159th Avenue N.W. lying in the South Half of Section 15, Township 32, Range 25, lying East of County Road #56 (Ramsey Blvd. N.W.) c) 160th Lane N.W. lying between Ebony Street NoW. and Dolomite Street N.W. d) Ebony Street N.W. lying between 159th Avenue N.W. and 160th Lane N.W. e) Dolomite Street N.W. lying between 158th Avenue N.W. and 160th Lane N.W. Ail of the above streets are located in the: South Half of Section 15, Township 32, Range 25. AND WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such pro- posed assessment has been completed and filed in his office for public in- spection, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) A hearing shall be held on the 15th day of October, 1980, in the City Hall at 8:00 P.M. to pass on such proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons owning property affected by such improve- ment will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessment. 2) The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing, and he shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement. He shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll not less than two weeks prior to the hearing.
