Councilman Reimann introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #80-120 RESOLUTION CALLING FOR PUBLIC HEARING PURSUANT TO MINNESOTA STATUTES, SECTION 474.01, SUBD. 7b, AND PUBLICATION OF NOTICE WHEREAS, a proposal has been made to this Council by Alan C. Phillips (the "Applicant") to undertake a project (the "Project") pursuant to the Minnesota Municipal Industrial Development Act, Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 474 (the "Act"); and WHEREAS, the Project consists of the constructing and equipping of an approximately 30,000 square foot office warehouse building to be located in the Ramsey Industrial Park in the City of Ramsey, Mir~nesota, to be developed and owned by Alan C. Phillips, as an individual, and to be leased to tenants including Altron, Inc., a Minnesota corporation engaged in the business of electronics manufacturing~ and WHEREAS, Section 474.01, Subd. 7b, of the Act requires this Council to conduct a public hearing on said proposal and to publish notice of said public hearing not less than 15 days nor more than 30 days prior to the date fixed for the hearing; and WHEREAS, the Applicant has delivered to this Council a draft copy of a proposed application to the Mir~aesota Commissioner of Sect~ities, together with all attachments and exhibits thereto, and said application, attachments and exhibits are now on file with the City Clerk, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF P~fSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA,' as follows: That a public hearing shall be conducted by this Council on the proposal to undertake and finance the Projection on October 28, 1980 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, in the City, at which hearing all parties who appear shall be given an opportunity to express their views with re- spect to said proposal. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That notice of the time and place of hearing, and stating the general nature of the Project and estimate of the principal amotnat of the bonds or other obligations to be issued to finance the Project shall be published at least once not less than fifteen (15) days nor more than thirty (30) days prior to the date fixed for the hearing, in the official newspaper and a newspaper of general circulation of the City. The notice shall state that a draft copy of the proposed application to the Minnesota Commissioner of Securities, together with all attachments and exhibits thereto, shall be available for public inspection following the publication of such notice and shall specify the place and time where and when it will be so available.
