Councilman Reimann introduced the following resolution and moved for its <br />adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #80-128 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by <br />law, the Ramsey City Council has met and heard andpassed upon all objectioms <br />to the proposed assessment for the improvement of the following streets: <br /> <br /> a) Yolite Street N.W. lying between the North and South <br /> boundary lines of the plat of Carol-Rose Acres <br /> <br /> b) 164th Lane N.W. lying between Yolite Street N.W. and <br /> Variolite Street N.W. <br /> <br />o) <br /> <br />164th Avenue N.W. lying between Yolite Street N.W. <br />and Lots 4 and 5 Block 2 of the plat of Carol-Rose <br />Acres <br /> <br />d) 163rd Lane N.W. lying between Yolite Street N.W. and <br /> Variolite Street <br /> <br />Ail of the above streets are located in the: <br /> <br />Northeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section <br />16, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA <br />COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) Such proposed assessment, a copy of which is attached <br />hereto and made a part hereof, is hereby accepted and shall constitute the <br />special assessment against the lands named therein, and each tract of ls~d <br />therein included in hereby found to be benefited by the proposed improve- <br />ment in the amount of the assessment levied against it. <br /> <br /> 2) Such assessment shall be payable in equal installments <br />extending over a period of ten years, the first of the installments to be <br />payable on or before the first Monday in January, 1981 and shall bear in- <br />terest at the rate of eight and one-half (8½) per cent annum from the date <br />of the adoption of this assessment resolution. To the first installment <br />shall be added interest on the entire assessment from the date of this <br />resolution until December 31, 1990. To each subsequent installment when <br />due shall be added interest for one year on all unpaid installments. <br /> <br /> 3) The owner of any property so assessed may, at any time <br />prior to 'the certification of the assessment to the county auditor, pay the <br />whole of the assessment on such property, with interest accrued to the <br />date'of payment, to the city treasurer, except that no interest shall be <br />charged if the entire assessment is paid within thirty (30) days from the <br />adoption of this resolution~ and he may, at any time thereafter, pay to the <br /> <br /> <br />
