Councilman Mickelson introduced the following resolution and moved for its <br />adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #80-133 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING CHANGE ORDER IN LIEU OF BID FOR TUNGSTEN STREET N.W. <br />BITUMINOUS OVERLAY ~PROVE~ENT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council directed the City Engineer, Mr. <br />Peter Raatikka of Consulting Engineers Diversified to get a price quote <br />to do this public improvement (Tungsten Street N.W. bituminous overlay <br />and miscellaneous storm drainage (catch basin and pipe) and submit it as <br />a change order to public improvement contract dated August 8, 1980 in the <br />amount of $319,407.50. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, <br />ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) City Engineer, Mr. Peter Raatikka of Consulting En- <br />gineers Diversified, submitted the following price quote from N.D.H. (bid <br />holder for the above public improvement contract dated August 8, 1980 in <br />the amount of $319,407.50): <br /> <br />a) $2,282 <br />b ) 5,475 <br /> <br />catch basin and pipe <br />bituminous overlay <br /> <br />$7~ 757 total price quote <br /> <br /> 2) Council hereby accepts the price quote submitted by <br />N.D.H. and finds that this change order does not exceed 25% of the above <br />original bid, and therefore, does qualify as a change order. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded <br />by Councilman Reimann and upon vote being taken thereon, the following <br />voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor GAmec, Councilmen Sorteberg, Mickelson, Reimar~a and <br />Cox <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey <br />City Council this the 14th day of October, 1980. <br /> <br /> <br />
