Counci~nan Reimann introduced the following resolution and moved for its <br />adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #80-140 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENT <br /> <br /> WKEREAS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by <br />law, the council has met and heard and passed upon all objections to the <br />proposed assessment for the improvement of the following streets: <br /> <br />a~) 158th Lane N.W. lying between County Road #56 <br /> (Ramsey Blvd. N.W.) and Dolomite Street N.W. <br /> <br />b) <br /> <br />159th Avenue N.W. lying in the South Half of <br />Section 15, Township 32, Range 25, lying East <br />of County Road #56 (Ramsey Blvd. N.W.) <br /> <br />c) 160th Lane N.W. lying between Ebony Street N.W. <br /> and Dolomite Street N.W. <br /> <br />d) Ebony Street N.W. lying between 159th Avenue N.W. <br /> and 160th Lane N.W. <br /> <br />e) Dolomite Street N.W. lying between 159th Avenue N.W. <br /> and 160th Lane N.W. <br /> <br />Ail of the above streets are located in the: <br /> <br />South Half of Section 15, Township 32, Range 25 <br /> <br />NOW T~REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, <br />ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) Such proposed assessment, a copy of which is attached <br />hereto and made a part hereof, is hereby accepted and shall constitute the <br />special assessment against the lands named therein, and each tract of land <br />therein included in hereby found to be benefited by the proposed improve- <br />ment in the amotunt of the assessment levied against it. <br /> <br /> 2) Such assessment shall be payable in equal annual install- <br />ments extending over a period of ten years, the first of the installments <br />to be payable on or before the first Monday in January, 1981 and shall bear <br />interest at the rate of eight and one-half (8½) per cent ar~num from the date <br />of the adoption of this assessment resolution. To the first installment <br />shall be added interest on the entire assessment from the date of this <br />resolution until December 31, 1990. To each subsequent installment when <br />due shall be added interest for one year on all unpaid installments. <br /> <br /> 3) The owner of any property so assessed may, at any time <br />prior to certification of the assessment to the county auditor, pay the <br />whole of the assessment on such property, with interest accrued to the date <br />of pa~nent, to the city treasurer, except that no interest shall be charged <br />if the entire assessment is paid within thirty (30) days from the adoption <br />of this resolution; and he may, at any time thereafter, pay to the city <br /> <br /> <br />
