Councilman Cox introduced the following resolution and moved for its <br />adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #80-143 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESS~ENT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by <br />law, the council has met and heard and passed upon all objections to the <br />proposed assessment for the improvement of the following streets: <br /> <br />a) Fluorine Street N.W. lying between 177th Lane <br /> N.W. and 179th Lane N.W. (C.S.A.H. #7) <br /> <br />b) Erkium Street NoW. lying between 177th Avenue N.W. <br /> and 179th Lane N.W. (C.S.A.H. #7) <br /> <br />c) Cobalt Street N.W. lying between Argon Street <br /> and 177th Avenue N.W. <br /> <br />Argon Street N.W. lying in the Southwest quarter of <br />Section 1, Township 32, Range 25 lying South of <br />177th Avenue N.W. <br /> <br />e) 177th Lane N.W. lying between Fluorine Street N.W. <br /> and Erkium Street N.W. <br /> <br />f) 177th Avenue N.W. lying between Erkium Street N.W. <br /> and Cobalt Street N.W. <br /> <br />177th Avenue N.W. lying in the Southwest Quarter of <br />Section 1, Township 32, Range 25 lying East of <br />Cobalt Street N.W. <br /> <br />Ail of the above streets are located in the: <br /> <br />West Half of Section 1, Township 32, Range 25. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, <br />ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) Such proposed assessment, a copy of which is attached <br />hereto and made a part hereof, is hereby accepted and shall constitute the <br />special assessment against the lands named therein, and each tract of land <br />therein included in hereby found to be benefited by the proposed improve- <br />ment in the amount of the assessment levied against it. <br /> <br /> 2) Such assessment shall be payable in equal annual install- <br />ments extending over a period of ten years, the first of the installments <br />to be payable on or before the first Monday in January, 1981 and shall bear <br />interest at 'the rate of eight and one-half (8½) per cent annum from the date <br />of the adoption of th±s assessment resolution. To the first installment <br />shall be added interest on the entire assessment from the date of this <br />resolution until December 31, 1990. To each subsequent installment when <br />due shall be added interest for one year on all unpaid installments. <br /> <br /> <br />
