Councilman Reimann introduced the following resolution and moved for its <br />adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #80-143b <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE OF $2,000 FOR THE FRAM~ STRUCTURE <br />FOR BUSINESS DIRECTORY SIGNING <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Ramsey Publicity Committee which is a sub com- <br />mittee of the Ramsey Economic Development Committee has requested that the <br />City of Ramsey pay for the construction and material to construct the sign <br />structure frame to hold the business advertising signs which will be con- <br />structed at the intersections of State Highway #10 and County Road #56, <br />State Highway #47 and Industrial Blvd. and State Highway #10 and County <br />Road #57. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, <br />ANOIfA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) The Ramsey City Council approved of the above request <br />and directed the following: <br /> <br />a) Authorize the City of Ramsey to spend up to $2,000 for <br />the material and construction of the three (3) sign fr~ne <br />structures which will hold the directory signs advertising <br />Ramsey businesses. Further, that this expenditure be <br />charged to accomnt number 101-4930 line item #51. <br /> <br />b) That the sign structure frames will be constructed at <br />the road intersectionas as indicated above. Further, that <br />the Publicity Cormmittee of the Ramsey Economic Development <br />Commission (Publicity Committee Mr. Bob Muller, Mr. Roger <br />Erickson, Mm. Lee Crawley and Mr. Arnie Cox) will be res- <br />ponsible to the Ramsey City Council in seeing that this <br />project is properly executed. <br /> <br />c) This action authorizes an additional increase in the <br />Ramsey General Fund Budget expenditure in the amount of <br />$2,000 in activity 101-4930. <br /> <br /> 2) It is directed that the Publicity Committee of the Ramsey <br />Economic Development Commission be furnished a copy of this resolution. <br /> <br /> 3) It is further directed that the City Accounting be fur- <br />nished a copy of this resolution as the authority to make the appropriate <br />entries. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded <br />by Councilman Mickelson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following <br />voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg~ Mickelson, Reimann and Cox <br /> <br /> <br />
