3) Zirconium Street N.W. lying between 153rd Lane <br /> N~W. and 154th Lane N.W. <br /> <br />4) Xenon Street N.W. lying between 153rd Lane N.Wo <br /> and 154th Lane N.W. <br /> <br />The following bids were considered according to law on the above listed <br />bituminous street surfacing projects and the following bids were received <br />complying with the advertisement: <br /> <br />Contractor <br /> <br />Total Bid <br /> <br />a) N.D.H., Inc, <br />b) Forest Lake Contracting, Inc. <br />c) Buffalo Bituminous, Inc. <br />d) Northern Asphalt Construction <br /> <br />$238,507.50 <br /> 249,241.00 <br /> 277,487.50 <br /> 338,601.80 <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS, it appears that N,D.H.~ Incorporated is the <br />lowest responsible bidder of $238,507.50. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA <br />COUNTY, MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) The Mayor and City Administrator/Clerk is hereby authorized <br />and directed to enter into the attached contract with N.D.H., Incorporated <br />in the name of the City for the improvement of the above listed streets <br />in 'the above stated projects when general obligation bonds have been sold <br />to finance the respective projects. <br /> <br /> 2) The City Administrator/Clerk is hereby authorized and <br />directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their <br />bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next <br />lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded <br />by Councilman Sorteberg and upon vote being taken thereon, the following <br />voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gsmec, Councilmen Sorteberg, Mickelson, Reimann and Cox <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey <br />City Council this the 20th day of October, 1980. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />mini ~trator/Clerk ~ <br /> <br /> <br />
