Councilman Cox introduced the following resolution and moved for its <br />adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #80-146b <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DELETION OF ASSESSN[ENT; CASE OF RALPH KARLSON <br />PLAT 89215 PARCEL 8010 (CONSTRUCTION PROJECT #80-10 STREET IMPROVEMENT) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. Ralph Karlson stated at the public hearing dated <br />October 15, 1980, which was held to levy the special assessment to Public <br />Improvement (Bituminous surfacing of street) Project #80-10 did not benefit <br />Parcel 8010 of Plat 89215 due to the fact that the above parcel of land is <br />tuabuildable; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Cotuncil, City of Ramsey, Anoka Cottnty, State <br />of Minnesota, did at its regular Council meeting direct City Staff to pre- <br />pare a finding of fact regarding the buildability of the above named parcel <br />of land owned by Mr. Ralph Karlson; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City Staff submitted a finding of fact to the City <br />Council on the above case as requested by the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA <br />COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) The Ramsey City Council has reviewed said findings of fact <br />and have directed the following action: <br /> <br />a) <br /> <br />b) <br /> <br />That the City of Ramsey adopt the finding of fact as <br />presented with no modification to it that Parcel 8010 <br />of Plat 89210 is not a buildable parcel of land. <br /> <br />That the City of Ramsey delete the special assessment <br />against Parcel 8010 of Plat 89210 for the public improve- <br />ment (Street bituminous surfacing) Project #80-10 in the <br />amount of $1,996.43. <br /> <br />c) That the above deleted assessment will become the City <br /> share. <br /> <br /> 2) It is further directed that this parcel be recorded as an <br />unbuildable lot based on the adopted findings of fact this date at the <br />Register of Deed's office. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded <br />by Councilman Sorteberg and upon vote being taken thereon, the following <br />voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec, Cotuncilmen Sorteberg, Mickelson, Reimamn and Cox <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br /> <br />
