Councilman Reimann introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #80-147c RESOLUTION ACQUIRING 0UTLOT "C" 0UTLOT "E" AND 0UTLOT "G" OF COUNTRYSIDE ESTATES FOR PUBLIC USE WHEREAS, the Anoka County Auditor by letter dated October 7, 1980 advised the City that 0utlot "C", 0utlot "E" and 0utlot "G" all in the plat of Countryside Estates are all parcels which have been forfeited to the State of Minmesota; and WHEREAS, the City in consideration of $10 per parcel can acquire these parcels for public purposes only; and WHEREAS, the Council finds that each of these above des- cribed parcels has certain public purpose potential such as right-of-way and drainage; and WHEREAS, the Council finds that acquisition of each of the above described parcels is in the best interests of the health, safety and welfare of the citizens of Ramsey. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City acquire from the State of Miranesota for in consideration of $10 per parcel the following tracts: a) 0utlot "C" Countryside Estates b) Outlot "E" Countryside Estates c) 0utlot "G" Countryside Estates 2) That the City's Mayor and City Administrative Assistant are hereby authorized to execute the necessary documents in order to effectuate this property acquisition. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Mickelson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg, Mickelson, Reimann and Cox and 'the following voted against the same: None whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council -this the 28th day of October, 1980. ayo r~ ~
