Life Fitnegg (formerly Parabody) groundbreaking for their new expansion Friday June 11, 1999 <br />at 8:30 a.m. <br /> <br />Anderson-Dahlin negotiations and progress through the City site plan review process. <br /> <br />Negotiations on final two lots in Business Park 95 with Posi-Pak and Peck Construction. <br /> <br />City has begun talks with a company interested in the Spone property, which is a large lot north <br />of Business Park 95. The company is considering the site for construction of a industrial <br />building ranging from 100,0000 - 150,000 square feet in size. <br /> <br />City is still negotiating with Direct Enclosures for development of the wetland site in Energy <br />Park. Approximately $265,000 of site preparation work is necessary to create a suitable site. <br /> <br />Hoisington Koegler will be conducting the Redevelopment Study and has already begun the first <br />phase. In addition, the City has contracted with Richardson, Richter and Associates to begin the <br />redevelopment study of the Macon property specifically. <br /> <br />EDAINPUT <br /> <br />The EDA directed staff to prepare a comparison of requested -Fax Increment Financing and other <br />incentives the City provided in the past and what the City offers currently. <br /> <br />EDA asked for an update regarding the letter that was to be sent to Connexus Energy to <br />determine their interest in continuing the economic development consulting contract with the <br />City of Ramsey. The City Administrator reported that he had followed up on that direction, but <br />not in writing. Larry Peterson of Connexus stated that they would be interested in continuing the <br />contract. Mr. Norman stated that his recommendation will be to contract with Mike Mulrooney, <br />not to continue the contract with Connexus. <br /> <br />EDA asked about the status of payment for attending the meetings.
