Councilmember Cox introduced the following resolution and moved for its <br />adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #80-148b <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RESCINDING COUNCIL RESOLUTION #80-145 DATED OCTOBER 28, 1980, <br />REGARDING THE DELETION OF THE HALF (~) ASSESSMENT; CASE OF MR. PHILLIP <br />KARST, 4920 - 179THLANE N.W. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council adopted Council Resolution #80- <br />145 dated October 28, 1980 which reduced a one (1) unit assessment of <br />$1,538.85 to a half (~) unit assessment of $769.43, case of Mr. Phillip <br />Karst, 4920 - 179th Lane N.W. as per City Assessment policy; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council upon further investigation into <br />the above Karst case finds that the action taken at the assessment hearing <br />which assessed Mr. Phillip Karst a one (1) unit assessment of $1,538.85 was <br />in accordance with the City Assessment Policy. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA <br />COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) The Ramsey City Council hereby rescinds Council Resolution <br />#80-145 dated October 28, 1980 which reduced a one (1) unit special assess- <br />ment of $1,538.85 to a half (~) unit special assessment of $769.43 case of <br />Mr. Phillip Karst, 4920 - 179th Lane N.W. (Please refer to Construction <br />Project file #80-12). <br /> <br /> 2) The Ramsey City Council hereby directs that the City Admini- <br />strator/Clerk hereby direct the City Accountant to correct Mr. Phillip Karst, <br />4920 - 179th Lane N.W. special assessment back to the one (1) unit assess- <br />ment at $1,538.85. Further, that if a copy of Resolution #80-145 has been <br />filed with the Anoka County Auditor's Office that a copy of the resolution <br />be furnished so that their records are corrected also, <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember Sorteberg and upon vote being taken thereon, the following <br />voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Councilmember Sorteberg, Mickelson, Reimann and Cox <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey <br />City Council this the 10th day of November, 1980. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />City Administrator/Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
