Councilman Cox introduced the following resolution and moved for its <br />adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #80-165 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION TO CLOSE OUT DISEASED TREE FUND AND TRANSFER PROCEEDS TO GENERAL <br />FUND <br /> <br /> W~REAS, the City of Ramsey, Anoka County, State of Minnesota, <br />has a Diseased Tree Fund containing $1,286.24; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, due to the fact that the balance in the Diseased Tree <br />Fund represents a portion of the General Fund expense incurred from admini- <br />stering 'the program from 1976 to the present, <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF P~EY, BNOKA <br />COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) The City Council hereby directs that the Diseased Tree <br />Fund #218 be closed and the fund's balance of $1,286.24 be transferred to <br />the General Fund #101. <br /> <br /> 2) It is further directed that the City Administrator/Clerk <br />provide the Accounting Department a copy of this resolution. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded <br />by Councilman Sorteberg and upon vote being taken thereon, the following <br />voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg, Reimann and Cox <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey <br />City Council this the 16th day of December, 1980. <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
