Councilman Reimann introduced the following resolution and moved for its <br />adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #80-166b <br /> <br />RESOLUTION COMMENDING EMPLOYEE ARLENE STAFFORD <br /> <br /> WHEREAS~ the City Administrator/Clerk, of the City of Ramsey, <br />delegated the responsibilities of handling the 1978 and 1980 General <br />Elections to Arlene Stafford, Administrative Clerical Secretary; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Administrator/Clerk, of the City of Ramsey, <br />reported to the Council Personnel Committee that Arlene Stafford has done <br />an outstanding job in supervising the above elections for the City of <br />Ramsey. Therefore, the Council Personnel Committee has recommended that <br />the above named City employee be commended for her work, <br /> <br />NOW TILEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TKE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RBJ~SEY, ANOKA <br />COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) That the Ramsey City Coomcil takes great pleasure in <br />commending Arlene Stafford in the performance of her duties in supervising <br />the 1978 and 1980 General Elections here in the City of Ramsey as these <br />duties involved great patience in working with citizen election judges <br />who do not know the complex State election law procedmre. <br /> <br /> 2) That Arlene Stafford's productivity and attention to her <br />job is an economical benefit to the City as she performed these duties <br />along with her regular job. <br /> <br /> 3) that it is hereby directed that a certified copy of this <br />resolution #80-166b be made a part of Arlene Stafford's personnel file. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded <br />by Councilman Cox and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted <br />in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg, Reimann and Cox <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey <br />City Council this the 16th day of December, 1980. <br /> <br />ATTEST <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />&].s~rator/Cle <br /> <br /> <br />
